Spring has finally Sprung

I'm so delighted that spring is finally here. It seems like it took forever, but I drove around the harbor today and there were blossoms everywhere. YEAHHHHH....

What better way to break in spring than to photograph a cute little cuddle bug, all dressed up for Easter.

Check out handsome little Gabriel. He's got so much character. He was just happy as a clam. Through all the many clothing changes and backgrounds, I was really surprise. He's a very cheerful little guy. You can see more of him from his first "Year in the Life" session if you look in the archives.

Hope you all have a blessed Easter. Enjoy time with the family, and hunting Easter eggs. I know I will.

A cold but fun portrait session

Hello friends,

I know you probably thought I have dropped off the face of the earth, but no I am still here. Just been very busy.

Today I am showing off some fun portraits of my friend Courtney's kids. Courtney, whom I've mentioned before, owns the Garden Baby Boutique, You can see her website linked to my blog. She has two great kids, who are quite the little models. We had so much fun, dressed them up in some of Courtney's hand made outfits, and went over to Bremerton, where they built the new water fountains, to take some portraits.
The weather was not exactly being our friend this day, it was soooo cold, but the kids did great, we came up with some really great portraits. You will see some of these pictures hanging up in her shop.
After the session, we wanted to reward the kids with hot chocolate, for being such troopers, but they insisted on ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery. Kids just crack me up.

The Lunar Eclipse

Did any of you catch the lunar eclipse. If it weren't for my little friend Alex who was visiting Wednesday night, I totally would have missed it.

Not only did we have clear skies ( I know, IN WASHINGTON!), but the moon was huge and beautiful coming up over the tall trees. Clear stary night. What a site to see.

I caught a few pictures just as the eclipse started, and just before the end.

Alcorn's Expecting

Pregnancy suits Tammy. She's beautiful when she isn't pregnant, but something about having that cute little basketball belly makes her glow...

Their little boy Eathan is always mimicing the worship leaders in our church when we visit, so I asked Scott and Tammy if I could take some pictures of him with his guitar. He's a natural, and I'm pretty sure looking forward to RockStardom in his future.

This is a beautiful family that I know from Impact Church in Gig Harbor. They are expecting their 4th baby, another little girl. They already have been blessed with two beautiful girls, who are just sweethearts, and a little boy with tons of personality.

They are expecting little Nora Grace in around 4 weeks. Im sure she is going to be a delight just like the other three.

God bless you Acorns (hehehe) "personal joke"

Garden Baby Boutique

Sorry I haven't posted anything new lately, but I've been working on my AWESOME new special that I'm running.

Now you can enter to win one of my Beautiful "Year in the Life" custom albums. If you don't already know about them, you should call me so I can give you all the information. They are a gorgeous way to capture the growth of your child, over the course of a year, in a custom designed by "yours truly" album.

To enter you have to go to one of the local shops that I'm working with and fill out an entry form.

Currently I have a box up at Garden Baby Boutique in old town Port Orchard. If you haven't been to this shop yet you have to go check it out. Courtney, the owner of the shop, creates beautiful custom made childrens clothing and baby stuff like diaper bags, blankets and accesorries, all hand made and at a very afordable price. Click on her link on this blog to see some of her stuff.

There is also a box at Bright Beginnings Pre School in Port Orchard.

So go by either spot and fill out an entry form.

Hint*** "I just might be pulling some extra gifts out of the box for some lucky entrants.

Keep posted to see more locations where you can enter.

Good luck....

I can't wait for spring

Spring is my favorite time of year. When all the beautiful flowers start to bloom. The air is filled with the fresh scent of new life. The warm sun start to bring life to everything that has been dead for the winter.

I know it's a little early to be dreaming of those warm sunny spring days, but I just have to say I can't wait for spring.

Here are a few pictures from last spring. I must say that I think the kids love spring as much as I do.
