Amanda

If I had to pick a few words to describe her, I think it would go like this.

Cute...

Spunky...

Fun...

This is Amanda, she is going to be a 2008 graduate from South Kitsap High. She is a dancer and loves kids. She is planning on being a teacher, which I think fits her personality perfect. She is interning at my sons school next year, which is so awesome, I hope she's in his class. She loves animals, and I am very excited to photograph her with her horse in June. Keep checking back to see those pictures. Congratulations Amanda on all your accomplishments, including those to come. ;) .

The moment in between

Jona and Shane
As many of you, whom have had me take your portraits know, I love the moment in-between.
What I mean about that, is my favorite portraits are after the pose is complete. So often we let down our guard after the shutter has been snapped, and that is when the true personality shines through. I love to capture that. Jona and Shane here obviously had a fun portrait session, and I'm afraid they are going to have a difficult time picking out their portraits because I kept snapping after the poses were done:). They were laughing and having a great time, and I just couldn't resist. Anyhow, here's a sneak peak of their session. I can't wait to show them all off. See you guys soon.

Pregnancy and Poetry

Ondreya and Adam are eagerly awaiting their first baby girl.
There is no greater miracle than this.
The quickening of flesh within the womb,
Summoning an angel to a kiss.

Again the gist of Genesis:
The gulf of light darts vast against the gloom!
Beautiful Anticipation

There is no greater miracle than this.
Again the voice of the abyss,

Tailoring the temple to the tomb,
Summoning an angel to a kiss.
The paradox defies analysis:
Soul from sand,
sanctity from spume.

There is no greater miracle than this.
Nor ought one such absurdity dismiss:

The rationing of reason to a room,
Summoning an angel to a kiss.

Life walks upon a sea of nothingness,
Eternal in the beauty of its bloom.
There is no greater miracle than this:
Summoning an angel to a kiss.

Congratulations Ondreya and Adam. The joy of parenthood is the most precious gift that God gives to us. You are going to make great parents.
