Family Pumpkin Day

Fall is such a fun time for family. Our family has made it a tradition every year to visit a farm and pick out some fall pumpkins. Normally we go to Sequim, because it's on the way to Grandma and Grandpas, and they have an awesome pumpkin farm there with pumpkin slinging, baby pig chasing and an awesome corn maze, but David wasn't feeling so great this year, and didn't want to risk getting the Grandparents sick. So we opted to try someplace a little closer.

We found online a farm in Kingston that looked like a lot of fun. It was called Sunrise Hill Farm and so we took the drive over. I was so happy we did. The weather was terrific, and the fall colors were mesmerizing. Everyplace was just glowing yellow, orange, red and gold.

The little farm was just delightful. They had a giant corn maze, which we decided not to go in. The entire maze was over 1.2 miles long, and we just didn't think the little ones would last that long in the corn. We did get to pet goats, ponies, llamas, sheep and see chickens. We flung some mini pumpkins into a field with a giant rubber band and topped it off with a hot cup or apple cider and cocoa for the boys. It was another awesome family day that will be part of the Wessel Family Memories Photo Album......
